Where to Find Restock Alerts: Email and Social Media
The official Matt & Tommy store offers two primary alert methods: email and social media. Email is the most reliable because it’s direct and doesn’t get lost in an algorithm. Sign up at the top of the store page - usually a banner or footer form. You’ll receive a confirmation email; click the link to activate. Pro tip: add the store’s email to your contacts so it doesn’t land in spam.
Social media is faster for real-time updates, but it’s also noisier. Follow @MattandTommy on Instagram and Twitter, and turn on post notifications. I recommend Instagram Stories for drop teasers - they often announce the exact time 24 hours before. Twitter works for last-minute changes. One common mistake: only following one platform. If Instagram goes down (it happens), you’re in the dark. Use both.
Step 1: Sign Up for Email Notifications
Go to the Matt & Tommy merch store homepage. Look for the “Get Notified” form - usually near the hero image. Enter your best email address. Double-check spelling. Click subscribe. You’ll get a confirmation link. Open it within 24 hours or the signup expires. That’s it. You’re now on the list.
Step 2: Turn On Social Media Notifications
On Instagram, visit @MattandTommy, tap the bell icon, and select “Posts” and “Stories.” On Twitter, follow the account and enable notifications via the bell icon. You’ll get a push alert every time they post. Fair warning: if they post frequently, this can be annoying. You can adjust later.
Step 3: Use the Store Wishlist
Before a drop, browse the store and add your top three items to your wishlist (heart icon). When a restock happens, the wishlist page updates stock status faster than browsing categories. It also prepopulates your cart with saved sizes. I’ve saved about 10 seconds per item this way - and seconds matter.
Step 4: Join the Fan Discord
The unofficial Matt & Tommy Discord server has a dedicated restock channel. Members post the exact URL of the product page as soon as it goes live. This is often minutes before the email goes out. Be active and respectful - don’t spam. The link is usually shared in Instagram stories or Twitter bios.
Step 5: Set Up Browser Alerts
Use a tool like Distill Web Monitor to watch the product page for “Add to Cart” button changes. Set it to check every 30 seconds. When the button appears, you get a desktop pop-up. This is the most technical method but works even if other channels fail. I’ve used it for the Signature Hoodie and it paid off.
